can i change my 256gb m.2 for a 1tb m.2? and i dont exactly know the m2 size compatibility

@AgJ_LilStar,

 

Basically, M.2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. You can upgrade up to 4 TB, so a 1 TB NVMe SSD should work fine.

 

HP doesn't have service manual for your14-cf3000 model series. Only manual for 14-cf0000 is available, but you can use it for M.2 SSD replacement procedures (page 41).
