hi everyone,
I have this laptop with the model ac123tx, i5 with windows 10 pro 64 bit installed on it.
lately I have been facing this issue where I plug in my laptop and it comes on charging for a brief moment and then stops charging and then after a brief moment it starts to charge.
I have followed the instructions where they are instructing to reinstall Microsoft ACPI- Compliant Conrol Method Battery after reinstalling the battery and pressing the on button for complete one minute.
After this I also did the diagnostics test via the hp support assistant and diagnostics test software where the support assisant test said i need to replace the battery as it has been weak and the report from diagnostics UEFI software said cancelled.
Then I did a couple of battery check tests again and it said that the battery needs to be replaced, but the plugged and not charging had resolved.
And now the battery check test says that the battery is all ok but the plugged in and not charging issue has come back.
Now, i followed the forum and did a bios update and the plugged in not charging issue came up in the start and I have been using this laptop right now for about an hour, it hasnt come back again, also the battery check tests say that the battery is all ok with the specs as follows.
design capacity: 2850mah
full charge capacity: 1476mah
remaing capacity:1461mah
terminal volatge 16760mv
design voltage: 14600mv
Could someone please tell me what should I do right now to rectify this issue once and for all because I am a student and i need to carry laptop to the uni but with this issue, it is really being very hard for me to carry it and do my work.
Thank you in advance and any prompt response would be appreciated
Regards
Sarthak
