HP Pavilion - 15-cw0055nr

Hp 15-cw0055nr does not show my new SSD card.

Put in the following SSD card, but the PC is not showing it. Looked in BIOS and to where to make it viewable but can't seem to find how to do so.

Its in solid, screwed down firmly.

Any support will be greatly appreciated.

Not all PC's show a NVMe SSD in the BIOS as a bootable device.

Why that is, I do not know.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try installing Windows on the SSD.

The service manual indicates that NVMe SSD's are supported (chapter 1, page 2).

What is the best way to get Windows 11 onto that card? Should I put into a separate computer or is there another way

HP Recommended

Make a bootable W11 USB flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below (2nd option).

Download Windows 11

Boot from the W11 installation media, and when you get to the part that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows,' select the 1 TB NVMe SSD that hopefully will show up on that screen.
