Since your notebook only has one antenna wire, your only option for an easy direct swap to a dual band card would be to install this dual band model which only needs one Wi-Fi antenna wire for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to work:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

Below is the link to the service manual:

HP Notebook PC (AMD) * Models: 15-ba100 – 15-ba199 * Models: 15-ba000 – 15-ba099 * Models: 15-bf100 ...

You have a nice day too.

Thank you very much for your answer.

I found your answer earlier with the same proposal, on Intel. I don't need bluetooth, will it be compatible with amd Realtek RTL8852AE (M34029-005), Realtek RTL8822CE AW-CB375NF?

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

The RTL8822CE should work.

Not sure about the RTL8852AE--possibly.

No Bluetooth reception without the second antenna wire as you may be aware.

I saw this opportunity on your link.

""Integrated wireless options with dual
antennas (M.2/PCIe):
Compatible with Miracast-certified devices
Support for the following WLAN formats:
● Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.2 Combo""

Maybe you can tell me what is better to choose RTL8821CE vs AC 3165?

HP Recommended

The max throughput specifications are the same for both cards---433 MBPS.

The advantages of the Realtek card are: both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will work with the single antenna and the drivers are more recent than the Intel 3165 for which Intel has ended support as of May 16, 2024.

The advantage of the Intel card and that is just my opinion, is that Intel makes the best Wi-Fi cards on the market.

If you decide on the Realtek card, let me know, and I will post the links to the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers HP currently has for the RTL8821CE.

It so happened that I have RTL8821CE. However, I want to find a compatible Intel. Even at the expense of Bluetooth.

thank you very much, you are top)

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Since your notebook has an AMD processor, you are limited to installing one of the Intel cards listed in chapter 3 of the service manual.

They should also have the HP part number.

I do not believe one such as the AX200 non-vPro card will work.

Thank you for your help. Have a nice day.
