Product: 820 g2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Got a 2013 docking station, cannot get video, usb, or charging to work with elitebook 820 g2.

 

Installed all availible softpaq's.  Tried to upgrade firmware but dock doesnt even see the monitor (connected to DP port).

 

What else can i try?

Firstly it won't charge your machine and secondly it is compatible with the following products

Yes sir thank you, that is the one.

 

It wont charge my machine because of the model I have?  Or these dont charge in general?  That seems crazy since the dock blocks the charging port so it's useless like that.

 

Thank you for responding. To be clear I do not have one of the machines on your list of incompatible vintages.

I misread your post...you said it IS companible with the following!

 

yikes so it'll never work for me.  That list was most certainly not on the website where I ordered this stupid thing!
