hi I ask you a question, I recently purchased a crucial kit CT2KIT102464BF160B 16 GB Memory Kit, the two banks of ram are identical same serial all the same, but they do not go in dual channel, it could be that my computer does not support dual channel ? ho not all ram kits work in dual channel, i.e. must dual channel be specified? you can help me ? but with speccy it gives me that the motherboard does not support dual channel, let me know, thanks

Hi:

 

I know that some AMD motherboards don't support dual channel mode.

 

If you have a report that indicates the memory is running in single channel mode, it may be correct.

 

The service manual indicates for both the AMD and Intel models, the memory is dual channel (chapter 1, page 4).

There aren't any settings you can change to make the memory run in dual channel mode.

maybe the crucial kit is not supported, when i bought the laptop it had 4 gb ram hynix, there is a sk hynix 16 gb 2x8 dual channel kit, you say i am better?

I don't think it would matter.

 

It isn't the memory that is the issue, it is the PC.

 

It will not run the memory in DDR mode.
