See pages 47-49 of the Service Manual here:
You will swap the mounting brackets over from the existing optical drive. If you do not have an optical drive the space filler may have a mounting bracket on the back of it. HP does not make an ODD adapter part for it but you can use one purchased from the aftermarket like this:
9mm only which are hard to find. More common 9.5 mm adapter will not fit. You will also move the faceplate over to this adapter to make it look good.
Have you used all other storage options in the laptop? The Zbook 17 G5 can accept multiple M.2 SSDs and a 2.5 inch SATA SSD...hard to understand why you might need to put a hard drive in an optical adapter but if you must, it can be done.

thanks a lot Huffer for your reply
can you send part number or links for HDD and SSD available to put inside the caddy if i'm going to use odd slot
as i prefer to use hdd 2.5 inch 7200 rpm or 5400 rpm mechanical HDD for storage data as they have long life time as before my ssd damaged and i lost data so i use both ssd for operating system and hdd for store data and i already installed hdd 1 TB 7200 rpm in 2.5 inch SATA and need to put another one in ODD slot .
also if you can mention the max dimensions of hard drive put in the 9 mm caddy
thanks too much again for reply and any one help

Its going to need to be a 7mm superslim hard drive or SSD. All 2.5 inch SATA SSDs are 7mm but not all HDDs are.
Literally any one will work. The square hole in the caddy is made for standard 2.5 inch wide laptop sized drives and they are generic and interchangeable. They mount with the same connections and hole placement.
1 TB 7mm 7200 rpm mechanical drive:
1 TB 2.5 inch SSD:
