i want upgrade my laptop compaq presario cq56-105tu currently my laptop processor Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4500 which highest processor i can upgrade please help me for this and also want to extend RAM memory which type of RAM in my pc help me for this.

According to chapter 1, you already have the best supported Intel processor that was offered.

 

You can install up to 2 x 4 GB of DDR2-6400 memory but 2 x 4 GB of DDR2 memory would be extremely expensive and not worth the money to upgrade such an old notebook.

 

For the processor...if you want to experiment with a better one, the Intel T6600 would be the best processor you can upgrade to in your model.

 

A bigger gamble would be the T9500...that also has a chance of working.

 

Your notebook's Intel GL40 chipset can only run processors with a max FSB of 800 MHz.
