hp envy dv7-7290eo ram upgrade

Hi! Looking for Ram upgrade to my hp envy-dv7 7290eo

Originally it comes with 2x4gb Xynix pc3-12800 ddr3 1600mhz  and as i have  heard  it support only up to 16gb (2x8gb)? how about mhz ? 1600mhz is maximum  or it can go higher? Maybe you have some examples wich one will fit the best to max out computer's preference?

Hi:

The max is 2 x 8 GB of DDR3/L 1600 MHz memory.

This should be a compatible memory chip for your notebook.

didn't know that it can be maxed out up to 2x16 gb ram!

Can you please drop some links with compatible 16gb memory chip  so i can order 2x16gb ram and run my pc on 32gb memory

I made a big mistake.

The max is 2 x 8 GB of memory for your model.

I edited my post above and corrected the max memory to 2 x 8 GB.

The 8 GB memory I posted would be compatible.

Thanks for support! RAM is upgraded to 16gb!

Have a question about hdd.. i would like to upgrade to ssd for better speeds...  I think that for system it can be 500gb and for other stuff or nr 2  will be good  to get 1tb!

Can you please help with that upgrade with some links?

You're very welcome.

A SSD will definitely improve performance...as much or more than the memory upgrade.

If you are in the market for a 500 GB one, this one in my opinion, is the best one out there, price and performance - wise.
