it wouldnt let me select the hp pavilion g6-1384eg and i want to say. could i use i7-3632qm (current cpu i5-2450m) with HM65 when my bios is 10/24/2013 which may be the absolute latest to be sure would i be able to run it on my laptop like im not sure

The g6-1300 model series only supports the Intel 2nd gen core processors.

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual has the list of supported processors:

You can upgrade to the  Intel® Core™ i7-2640M processor.

 

You need a g6-2xxx model series notebook with an Intel HM76 Express Chipset to run an Intel 3rd gen core processor.

It's me oki4 idk what happens to my account it won't let me log in BUT what if my BIOS has a microcode for ivy bridge support for ivy bridge CPUs will it MAYBE just MAYBE boot up?
