HP Pavilion - 15-bc550na
Hi!

I'm looking to Ram upgrade and Storage upgrade on my laptop and I would like to replace the current 8GB of RAM with a 16GB(2x8gb) or even 32GB (2x16gb). And a storage upgrade to 2TB. Preferably, i would want faster speeds for each of those components though i am not sure if any of the newer components would be compatible. I really don't know which one to get and how to mount it.

Therefore, not being an expert on the subject, I ask you for all this info!

Here's my PC info:
HP Pavilion Laptop 15 bc5xxx Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz 8gb ram nvidia geforce gtx 1050 3gb

Hi:

You can install 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-2666 CL19 or 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory,

The memory cannot run any faster than 2666 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.

You can install a NVMe SSD up to 4 TB as long as the drive is single-sided.

The PC's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.

This table shows the maximum transfer speeds each PCIe generation can provide:
