Main goal : Upgrade my Pavilion 14-ba075TX to dual storage configuration ( HDD + M.2 SSD SATA)
For the above purpose I have gone through the Pavilion 14-ba075TX mannul
(link for manual :http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06172090)
Implications from manual :
1) yes,I can add ssd through (M.2 SSD SATA) and their configuration as shown in below screenshot
right below the "Support for SSD" , they have given "Dual storage configuration" as
Here my DOUBT arises,
Q1) If I intended to keep my (HDD 1-TB) that came with laptop and use second storage simultaneously (thats what dual storage mean right?) should I limit my M2.SSD SATA to 128-GB as stated in "dual storage configuration" ?
Q2)If not Can I add M2.SSD SATA 256 GB to my Laptop?
Q3)if your ANSWER IS YES to "Q2" please explain "Dual storage configurations" stated in user manual and Difference between (TLC) and (MLC).
Q4)if your ANSWER IS YES to "Q2",Can I use HDD along with following M2.SSD SATA
a) Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SATA M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-N6E250) or
b)Crucial MX500 CT250MX500SSD4 250GB 3D NAND M.2 2280 Internal SSD or
c)Western Digital WD Green 240 GB M.2 2280 SATA Internal Solid State Drive (WDS240G2G0B).
I'm very Thankful for your attention to my query. Looking forward for your reply.
Addition Information : I scanned my laptop using Crucial System Scanner , the following are the results.
It shows that my laptop is compatible with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB 1-TB, but no information about using SSD along with HDD (dual configuration).

You have already seen the Manual. Look at page 62. Adding an M.2 SSD requires removing the motherboard. You are correct your model will only take SATA M.2 SSD. However, the Manual does not define the capacities you can install. It is for HP techs in the field and lists different factory configurations they might see. You can install as large a SATA M.2 2280 form factor SSD as you can find to buy. 2 TB not a problem and it will work with the original HDD.
TLC is triple level cell and MLC is multi-level cell and just has to do with how the actual chips that hold data are connected to the green board. Not important to the upgrader. The Crucial MX500 would be fine. I personally prefer Samsung 860 Evo but there are lots of good ones on the market. There tend to be very few compatibility issues with SATA M.2 SSDs.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

From the following information, you can add M.2 SATA to your machine using Crucial M.2 SATA SSD's which is similar to Samsung 860EVE M.2 SSD's
