Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. My laptop have low speed after upgrade the nvme m.2 samsung to nvme m2 990 pro. According to the manufacturer the speed is tup 7400m/s and 6400 m/s almost. The Samsung magician program shows 3770 and 2570. The system is fully updated. But i run driver booster finds a lot of updates especially for intel. So... 1) any ideas for the speed and 2)can i trust driver booster to update all the drivers or malfunction will occur afterwards?

Thanks

@Faidongit

Its specs

It ONLY has PCIe G3x4 controller. You put Samsung 990 which is PCIe G4x4 drive, it won't run PCIe G4x4 speed. Racing car can NOT run full speed on a dirt track.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards.

HI! Thank u for the reply. I have talked to 2 techs and both have told me it is a nvme pcie gen 4x4......that was the reason I bought this particular drive.

After i search Samsung's site i did not find any problem with compatibly.

Not sure if it matters that the driver is windows without having a driver option. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance
