I have a hp ProBook 455 g7 

Can I charge this device using a Type C port??
Also can i upgrade ram to 16gb?

Yes you can, you can use a compatible USB-C charger with 65W output to charge your machine. The following charger is compatible

 

              HP 65W USB-C Power Adapter product #  1HE08AA
