Looking for recommendations for docking stations for the HP Spectre x360 13 covertable (ap0023dx). I've heard that 3rd party devices won't charge and that is something I certainly want it to be able to do while I'm using it. Dual monitor would be nice. Thanks, in advance.

You have all the correct hardware to productively use a Thunderbolt dock.

I have used one of these:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/iogear-ultra-slim-usb-c-docking-station-with-power-delivery-pass-throug...

Used it with an HP Spectre 13-v series and it worked fine. Does require a USB-C power supply. I used a 65w generic usb-C adapter and it charged my HP notebook fine and provided dual monitor support. Dual FHD not dual 4k. It would only do one 4k, through the mini-DP port and then also an FHD.

This HP dock is similar and even though your laptop is not on the compatibility list it will work:

Includes the AC adapter which explains most of the price differential.
