Hi I have a Victus 15 laptop and I think it says fa1800no on the back. Small and hard to read 😉

I was wondering if I could install a larger battery?

Hi, Odin:

 

Unfortunately, HP only has the service manual for the previous model series available.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

According to chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual, it does not appear that you can use a different battery than the one that came with your notebook.

 

Look at the warning:

 

Battery
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the system board, be sure to use the correct battery for the graphics used in the computer.
