Sorry for jumping in but from my view, give fan(s) running for 30 secs or longer is a good idea to allow hot air to come out

Regards.

I wanted to see how long the fans would run after shutdown, so I set a stop watch. After 6 minutes the fans were still running and the led on the power button was still lit. After 6 minutes I had to pull the charger plug and do a hard shut down by holding down the power button.

I ran ALL the HP diagnostics on the Zbook and everything passed. I have also re-install all the drivers and re-install the bios. I have many years of experience with computers, but is really puzzling me. The Zbook is not completely shutting down. If you have any thoughts on why the Zbook is not completely shutting down, please let me know. Thank you.
