Hey im looking for upgrade my lapton to a SSD but im not sure if i my laptop will run well with this one.

HP ProBook 440 G3 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

 

Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 x 2280 SSD's, so the Kingston SSD you posted should work just fine.

 

This model drive in my opinion, provides the best performance for the price...

Yes, you can do that, but you may need to temporarily disconnect the 2.5" drive first and get the notebook to work from the M.2 SSD, then connect the 2.5" drive back up again.

On page 2 of the manual (c04825510.pdf) it supports M.2 2280 SATA SSD. Kingston drive from your link is OK but why only 580GB, you can use 1TB or 2TB to avoid another upgrade.
