Hi @umar39,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're seeing a recurring BIOS rollback message (01.22.00) on your HP PC running Windows 10 (64-bit). Even after updating the BIOS, the system continues to show this rollback prompt on every startup, followed by a restore option before Windows loads.

1. Perform a BIOS Recovery Using Key Combination

Try restoring the BIOS manually:

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Press and hold the Windows + B keys.
  3. While holding those keys, press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
  4. Release the Power button, but keep holding Windows + B for another 10 seconds.
  5. If successful, the system will enter HP BIOS Recovery and attempt to restore a stable version.

2. Update BIOS Using HP Support Assistant

If you can boot into Windows:

  • Open HP Support Assistant.
  • Go to Maintain > Tune Up > Start Tune-up.
  • Install the latest BIOS version for your specific model.

3. Manually Flash BIOS from USB

If the issue persists:

  • Use another PC to download the correct BIOS update from HP’s website.
  • Create a BIOS recovery USB using the installer.
  • Insert it into the affected PC and repeat the Windows + B recovery method.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
