Hi @Almo251234,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To determine if your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4W0AV) supports multiple monitors via USB Type-C, you'll need to check a few things:

USB Type-C Port Specifications: Firstly, verify the capabilities of the USB Type-C port on your laptop. Check if it supports video output, commonly referred to as DisplayPort Alternate Mode or DP Alt Mode. Not all USB Type-C ports support video output, so it's essential to confirm this feature.

Graphics Card: The ability to support multiple monitors also depends on your laptop's graphics card. If your laptop has a dedicated graphics card or integrated graphics with multiple display outputs, it increases the likelihood of supporting multiple monitors.

Operating System Support: Ensure that your operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) supports multiple monitors and can manage them efficiently. Most modern operating systems have built-in support for multiple monitors, but it's still worth verifying.

Adapter Compatibility: If your laptop's USB Type-C port supports video output, you may need the appropriate adapter or docking station to connect multiple monitors. Make sure the adapter or docking station is compatible with your laptop and supports the desired number of displays.

Driver Updates: Ensure that your laptop's graphics drivers and USB Type-C drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes, driver updates can improve compatibility and functionality, including support for multiple monitors.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

A single USB-C cable from the laptop port will drive a single monitor.  And that assumes the USB-C port has Alt-DP signal support. Not all do. To have dual monitor support you will need to use a port replicator/docking station connected to the USB-C port. and connect the multiple monitors to the ports on the replicator.
