Hi @uday1912,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
We understand that you would like to know about upgrade options for your HP Laptop 15z-ef2000, including Wi-Fi, RAM, and storage.
Please note the following important information:
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Card Upgrade
- Most HP consumer notebooks come with integrated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth cards that can be replaced with compatible modules. In many cases, you can upgrade to a Wi-Fi 6 card, provided it is supported by the system BIOS and antenna configuration.
- HP recommends using only HP-certified replacement parts to ensure compatibility. Using third-party or unsupported cards may lead to issues such as non-detection or reduced functionality.
- Memory (RAM) Upgrade
- The HP Laptop 15z-ef2000 series typically supports up to 16 GB or 32 GB DDR4 RAM (depending on the exact configuration).
- To confirm the exact limit for your unit, we recommend checking your product specifications on the HP Support website.
- Storage Upgrade
- This model generally includes an M.2 NVMe SSD slot. The storage can be upgraded by replacing the existing drive with a higher-capacity SSD. In some configurations, an additional 2.5" SATA slot may be available, but this depends on your specific model.

In some regions, unauthorized hardware modifications may also affect warranty coverage. We recommend having upgrades performed at an HP Authorized Service Center to ensure compatibility and protect your warranty.
To assist you further, please share your notebook’s Product Number (PN), which can be found on the bottom of the device or under System Information. This will allow us to confirm the exact supported upgrade options for your unit.

Hi @uday1912,
Thank you for getting back.
If you want a Realtek Wi-Fi-6 solution (AX, Bluetooth combo), these are commonly used and come in the standard laptop M.2 2230 form factor:
Realtek RTL8852AE (or RTL8852BE)Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) + Bluetooth 5.x, M.2 2230 NGFF. Good, modern Realtek AX option.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
