I tried to get ahold of HP support but im a month out of warranty and i was wondering if there were a way to get the ZIP file with the BIOS update inside, but our robot overlords say i have to post my grievances on glorified Yahoo Answers about it here.

The .exe file can be extracted using an advanced file manager. I used 7-zip in this case, extracted the HP .exe file which produced another .exe file which I then extracted again and unpacked the .bin files. Like this:
