I was on google and clicked a picture of a letter to a friend i was trying to write to a friend who is on a christian retreat and now all the sudden i'm getting all kinds of mcafee notifications that i have 7viruses on my computer and i can't exit out of them, i ran another virus scan and it said i'm protected, please help me to get rid of this mcafee alerts its super annoying

These are malware sites typically a popup from a 3rd party paid advertisement.  Usually google but it could be paid adv from bing.   

 

Get a screen print or write down what is needed to submit to google if using chrome

McAfee has nothing to do with the site or the problem.

 

Make a note of the phone number they want you to call.

Try to get a screen print is possible so you can examine the web page address before submitting the site..

 

Close chrome or edge. all the tabs..  If you cannot close the app then press CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up the task manager and terminate chrome or edge.

 

I have found that if you click on the same object it is very unlikely for the virus warning to show up a second time.  This make it difficult for google to locate the malware as it wont be shown anymore so it is important to get the phone number and website address.
