I need an hp omen replacement battery and i have no clue where to buy one from, ive come here looking for some help, only 4 years old i mostly use plugged in, the laptop has only been used to play 1 single game and web search the buillt in hp support assistant gives me an error to replace the battery 

charging state 68%

29c/ 84f temperature

after doing an over all scan on health.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Chapter 3, page 26 has the battery part number and description you need:

 

8 cell 82 WHr 2.8 AH Li-ion (for products with N17P (GTX 1050/GTX 1050Ti) processors)    HP part # 922976-855

 

HP does not sell the battery you need.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to do a search on Amazon or eBay by the HP battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references that part number.

Thank you I’ll have a look on both Amazon and eBay.. I’m starting to worry there isn’t a battery for my omen, I don’t want to lose the laptop altogether it’s too young and I can’t afford a replacement but I don’t want to have to. Fingers crossed I can find one.
