hp EliteBook 840 aero g8 , now it been a couple days I'm sensing heat coming out of the upper side of the keyboard and it is really uncomfortable and annoying.

just by using my laptop on normal everyday tasks, like using chrome on a single tab sometimes , the temperature is averaging between 50"and 60"degrees.

 I ran some benchmark tests to see how it performs the CPU temperature can reach over 90 degrees but not constantly the fan kicks in and it drops down the temperature .

is it supposed that the fan kicks in at lower temperatures or is this whole situation normal.

yesterday i replaced the thermal paste , still there is no difference.
