i want to add ssd in my Hp pavillion laptop 15- cs1xxx so which one is suitable and will support my laptop and which slot does it belong to?Also, is RAM upgredable in this laptop? It comes with 8 GB RAM. Can I increase it and does it make sense :  ) ?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info and the supported drive types.

 

You can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook, and the M.2 slot supports a NVMe SSD, so the HP EX900 should work.

 

You may also want to consider this model SSD which costs a little bit less but has faster sequential read/write speeds than the HP drive...
