Good day everyone, I bought a 256gb gigabyte ssd nvme m2.2280 for my Hp Laptop 14-bs0xx i7 7th gen proc. But when I installed it, the system is not opening. It only has blinking light on the side whenever I try to open it. The product number is 4FW70PA#UUF . I'm hoping someone can help me with my concern. Thanks.

Hi:
Your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA M.2 SSD's, not NVMe, which is why you are in your present dilemma.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

Hi:
Yes, if you can get this model in the Philippines, it should provide the best performance for the price.
The physical appearance of the M.2 slot is meaningless.
All M.2 slots in HP notebook and desktop PC's look like they will support a NVMe SSD.
You have to read chapter 1 of the applicable service manual for the types of SSD's supported in the M.2 slot.
Some support SATA only, some support NVMe only, and some support both.

You're very welcome.
I installed the 250 GB capacity of the memory I recommended in a HP Thin Client t630 desktop PC and the slot is exactly the same as yours. Looks like it fits a NVMe SSD but NVMe SSD's don't work in the slot.
The WD Blue SATA SSD works just fine.
