Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my hp dv6 laptop hdd to sdd, i would like to know, what configuration of ssd i should choose

Basically any normal 2.5" SSD's for notebooks/laptops would work but please try popular brands such as Crucial, Samsung, SanDisk. For example for a similar machine (dv6-61xx):
