I haven't been able to confirm if this is possible... I purchased 2x16 DDR4 2666MHZ, ready to install... Please help me find the info

The Crucial memory report indicates you can, and Crucial is usually right.

The HP service manual indicates the max is 2 x 8 GB.

I'm almost 100% certain since your model has an 8th gen Intel core processor, that you can install 2 x 16 GB of memory in there.

you have to install cpu-z software first then check is your  laptop have dual socket and then have dual chanel? thats it after confirmation you can install ram 🙂
