I have an Intel SSD I have been using in an old Lenovo laptop, without problem.
I purchased a new HP 15-af131dx laptop, and want to install the SSD in it.
I have tried several methods, and cannot get the HP to read the drive.
What do you recommend?
Also, how come this product can not be found on the HP website?
I believe this model is only a year old or so.

Hi:
Your notebook model can be found on the HP website...
http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-15-af100-Notebook-PC-series/8543365/model/8961406
Unfortunately, I can't help you with why the Intel SSD won't work in your notebook.
See if enabling legacy mode and disabling secure boot in the BIOS gets the drive to work.

If the drive is an old version like the Intel 330 or 520, you may have to set the BIOS to legacy.
Secure boot can prevent non-standard equipment from working.
I have even heard of some notebooks rejecting 3rd party memory with secure boot enabled.
Shocked me.
I'm just throwing that suggestion out there since you tried everything else with negative results.
If it works, you would have to leave the setting on legacy.
