There is an intermittent grinding noise from either the hard drive or fan on my hp envy x360, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz. The laptop has both a SSD and a HHD. The grinding noise lasts a second or two, the repeats 5-10 times, then stops. About 5 or 10 minutes later the grinding sound repeats itself. The computer is otherwise functioning fine, but this might be a sign that it might crash sooon.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you hear a grinding noise from the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
