Unfortunately, according to http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06618421.pdf, you cannot upgrade RAM on your  HP ENVY Laptop 13-Ba1000 (1F4E5AV) or HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1044TU (2V9G1PA) -as you referenced them both.

Double verification: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/envy-13-aq1044tu: "Standard memory: 8GB to 16GB non-removable".
