I need to upgrade my laptop with 500MB SSD. 

Do HP Pavilion 15-au114TX have M2 slot for SSD?

Hi:

 

You are going to have to open up the notebook and check.

 

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates there is a M.2 slot that supports SATA M.2 SSD's.

 

HP Pavilion Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

But on several models if the notebook did not come with a M.2 SSD from HP, the slot is not there.

 

Chapter 6 has the procedure to remove and replace the SSD.

 

If there is a M.2 slot, it should be visible after you remove the bottom cover, and hard drive (chapter 6, page 34).
