I have a laptop hp dy151012la, I wanted to change the network card because the one that comes from the factory does not support 5g network, I found an article in this forum
that recommended a specific model of network card, so I bought it.
I installed it myself and the computer recognizes it, even appears installed with drivers and everything, however, the wifi does not work; then I decided to run the troubleshooter and I throw this:
I searched the internet how to fix it and several videos mentioned the existence of a key with a network icon, they said that pressing fn+ that key would activate the wifi, but this model does not have that key, they also mentioned activating it from the bios, but I went into the bios and did not find the option to activate the wlan.
so my question is:
How can I activate the wifi?

Hi @otikoom
First verify that you have wi-fi enabled by going to Windows Settings, network and Internet. If this does not work, install the following driver

I see that you are connected by network cable, disconnect and only use the wi-fi connection.
