Hello
this is a recorded response (macro))
we need the exact model of your computer, and the product number
To find it follow this
for a desktop computer
HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? | HP® Customer Support
----------------------------------------------So I don't have the exact answer
but some possibilities
indeed, in many cases it is impossible to change this in the bios
It depends on the models, but if the memory is compatible, in some cases you have to use third-party software, I don't know if this is possible every time, or if it just works with a particular model (intel or amd)
It also seems to me to have seen a subject, where it is a question of particular modules, but I no longer have in mind if it is good in this situation
If I find this info I will come back

this is just for information
check well with your motherboard / computer model if it can match
This can damage your computer, follow the advice that can be given (cooling problem for example)
I can not vouch for the accuracy of the info, so be careful.
