I have an HP envy X360 with intel core 5 processor. Key on the keyboard doe not function. when I hit it nothing happens

I understand that you are facing issues with the key not functioning. 

 

Was there any physical damage or liquid spillage?

 

Meanwhile, to isolate the issue, let's check the keyboard and also if possible run the test on the touchpad as well.

Try updating keyboard drivers and bios. Click here
