Notebook - 15-bs015dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
i have notebook model :Notebook - 15-bs015dx , windows 10 64bit
my keyboard and touchpad stopped working suddenly after i shutdown my notebook yesterday  then today i start it up finding them don't work, i work with external mouse it work properly, but when i put wired keyboard it doesn't work , when i tried the keyboard while starting up by clicking 'esc' button the keyboard was working and i used the arrows to select to exit from the menu and continue loading.
I tried to get back to earlier update for windows but it says that it's no longer available because the update was in more than 10 days
Note* my key board and touchpad was warking fine the last days and this is just happened today.

Note* when i enter the device manager i find the keyboard and the touchpad with exclamation mark beside them i tried to update them,it says they r up to date ,and tried to uninstall and reinstall them and they still don't work

@EaT them Welcome to HP Community!

I understand the keyboard & mouse isn't working,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Have you attempted to reinstall the drivers?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse:

Go to the Device Manager and select your mouse. Uninstall it and then restart your computer. During restart, your mouse driver will automatically be reinstalled.

  • 1.   Click on Start and type ‘Device Manager’.

  • 2.   Click Device Manager.

  • 3.   Click + sign next to Mouse.

  • 4.   Right-click on mouse entry and choose "uninstall".

  • 5.   Restart your computer.

Click here to find and install the BIOS and Chipset driver for your device.
