Hi @Laramac,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already tried a number of troubleshooting steps for your HP All-in-One PC's wireless keyboard issue. Given the symptoms and the steps you've taken, here are some additional things you can try.
Check for Interference:
- Ensure there are no devices near the USB receiver that might be causing interference, such as other wireless devices, routers, or large metal objects.
Use a Wired Keyboard:
- Try using a wired USB keyboard to enter your PIN and log into your PC. This will help determine if the issue is specifically with wireless connectivity.
Safe Mode:
- Boot your PC into Safe Mode. This can help determine if the issue is software-related.
- Turn off your PC.
- Turn it back on and repeatedly press the Esc key until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F11 to access System Recovery.
- Choose Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, and then Startup Settings.
- Click Restart, and when your PC restarts, press 4 or F4 to start in Safe Mode.
- Check if the keyboard works in Safe Mode.
Update Drivers:
- If you can log in using a wired keyboard, go to Device Manager and check for any updates for your keyboard drivers.
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Keyboards section.
- Right-click your wireless keyboard and select Update driver.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
