hello,

            i want to upgrade my laptop key board to a backlit  version,how can i get the exact hardware,

 

laptop model is Hp 245G7 ,ryzen3 ,windows 10

See p. 16 part #2

 

Backlit is not listed as an option and you would need to select the right language etc. so information is in the Manual. Good luck.

This is not something the average consumer can hope to do. The keyboard comes as part of the whole top cover and replacement means complete disassembly and reassembly of the laptop. Not really cost-effective or even feasible.

         i am an computer system engineer so i am familiar with hardware upgrading,i just need the compatible part number since i seen someone is using the same model with the backlit on the keyboard,thanks for your reply
