I bought a wireless keyboard, but the number function on the right side just doesn't work. I've tried everything, but I can't get any further. Can anyone help me? Produkt: HP Pavilion x360 2- in - 1 Laptop 14-ek1xxx

@max45643, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble with the number pad on your wireless keyboard not functioning. Let's walk through a few steps to help resolve this:

Check Num Lock

  • Most wireless keyboards have a Num Lock key that toggles the number pad on/off.
  • Press the Num Lock key once and try using the number pad again.
  • Some keyboards may not have an LED indicator, so test by typing numbers in a text editor.

Keyboard Layout Settings

  • Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Keyboard.
  • Ensure the input method is set to US QWERTY or your preferred layout.
  • If you see “On-Screen Keyboard” showing numbers as navigation keys (Home, End, etc.), Num Lock is likely off.

Ease of Access Settings

  • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
  • Make sure “Use the numeric keypad to move the mouse around the screen” is turned off.
    • This setting disables number input and turns the pad into a mouse controller.

Test on Another Device

  • Connect the wireless keyboard to another PC or laptop.
  • If the number pad works there, the issue may be with your Pavilion x360’s settings or drivers.

Update Keyboard Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (right-click Start > Device Manager).
  • Expand Keyboards, right-click your wireless keyboard, and choose Update driver.
  • You can also use HP Support Assistant to check for updates:

Additional Notes

  • If your keyboard is a compact model without a dedicated number pad, it may require a Function (Fn) key combination to activate number input.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
