mijn vraag is of de kingston kvr32s22d8/32 geheugenmodule ook gaat werken in mijn
HP omen 17 an102nd  (serienummer >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<)

According to all of the information I could find, your PC supports a maximum of 2 x 16 GB of memory.

You can run this command in Windows Powershell as administrator to confirm that your notebook will support 64 GB of memory, which it will need to do to install a 32 GB memory chip on one slot.

Bedankt voor de reactie,  ik heb nu een ander setje aangeschaft nadat ik eerst al een setje van 2 x16gb van Corsair had geprobeerd.
heb ik nu 2 x SK hynix 16GB, DDR4, 2666MHz, SODIMM, NON-ECC, (MPN: HMA82GS6CJR8N-VK) 

gemonteerd.
Nu knippert mijn Caps-Lock 3 x lang en 2 x kort en ik krijg geen beeld (dit gebeurde ook bij de Corsair modules)

Doe ik iets verkeerd?

I looked up the specs on the SK Hynix memory you tried, and it is 1Rx8.

I believe you need to install 2Rx8 memory when you install 16 GB memory chips.

The 3200 MHz CL22 memory will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.

The other thing is to make sure the timing for DDR4-2666 memory is CL19 and for DDR4-3200 the CL is 22.

This isn't a good time to upgrade memory due to the currently extremely high costs.

I wonder if the price of gold is driving this because of the gold plated contact pins on the memory chips.

16 GB memory was around 30 Euros in January of this year.
