Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
Unfortunately, on these older notebooks, strange problems crop up and things just quit working.
I have a HP 6910p business class notebook from around 2007 that ran W10 just fine until the last two updates.
Now if it goes into sleep mode, or if the display turns off, when I wake it, or press any key to turn on the display, I get no display, so I have to press and hold the power button to shut it down and turn it on again.
So, my workaround is to never have the PC sleep, and never have the monitor turn off, and I just shut the PC down when I am done using it, which is very infrequently anyway.

how prophetic! as i write you, my wife's g60 is reverting back to win7. said she couldn't take it any more. the loss of audio after sleep was bearable, but the overall slowness was not. so now we have two pcs, hers and mine which is old as well and non compatible with 10, which we will take our chances with after january 14. it was worth a try anyway. thanks again for all your assistance and take care!!
