I bouht a second hand laptop the HP 14s-dq0034na from Cashconverters. can I upgrade the ram and SSD card? also what about putting an i3 chip in?

You can replace the 4 GB DDR4-2400 MHz memory chip with an 8 GB DDR4-2400 MHz memory chip.
You cannot upgrade the processor as it is an integral part of the motherboard.
The PC comes with a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD.
You can install a larger capacity M.2 SATA SSD, such as the one at the link below:
NVMe SSD's are not supported in the notebooks with Intel Celeron processors.
