HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0041nr
Microsoft Windows 11

HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx stops charging at 79%. Windows battery check says battery is good. Should I be worried about the battery failing soon? Is it time to replace the battery or can I wait till it charges only to 50%? Looking at available batteries on Amazon but are they reliable?

Thanks for any info and help provided!

I happen to own an HP Spectre x360 13t-ap000 series laptop.

It is a 2019 market year model. I replaced the battery about eighteen months ago.

You really do need to replace it with an original HP battery.

Failure to do that can result in unexpected battery behavior.

Don't use compatible non-HP part numbered units from Amazon.
