May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

May I know where exactly are you getting this error? Could you please share a picture of it via private message?

I replaced the battery with the laptop plugged in and running. The next day the caps lock light was blinking error code 54. I restarted the machine and have the error code. I unplugged it, removed the battery and reinstalled it, then started it and still have the code. It works perfectly otherwise.

May I know from where did you purchase the replacement battery?

I purchased the battery, hp original equipment with holograph, from Amazon. The machine works perfectly on battery or shore power.

Interesting fix. I downloaded and attempted to run the self diag app and after restart the blink code went away, and I could not get the software to run. I suppose that for now, the issue is resolved. Everything is running fast and well.
