I have had my HP Laptop 17-by1xxx for not even 2 years and the laptop base and top cover are already separating. I have to be very careful when I open it. It is hard to open and feels like the hinges are about to break. Also, I can hear rattling like there are likely plastic pieces broken. I would really expect an HP laptop to last more than 16 months. It seems to be a common problem... I have looked at different forums and have seen many complaints for this same issue. What are my options?
