HP Gaming Pavilion - 17-cd0023nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good morning, trying to find information to expand my memory.
Exactly about the maximum possible parameters supported by the
motherboard.
I searched in the manual and on HP websites - but I did not find.

HP Gaming Pavilion - 17-cd0023nw
Product number - 7SB36EA # AKD

[edit]

Currently installed memory: 8 GB, DDR4-2666 SDRAM

I would like to get the following information (preferably a link to this information):
1) What memory frequencies does the motherboard support?
2) What delays in operational memory so-called CAS latency.
3) Is the Dual Channel RAM supported? Please help.

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

right on p. 1 is the answer to most of your questions:

Two SODIMM slots, customer accessible/upgradeable
DDR4-2666 dual channel support
Supports up to 32 GB maximum system memory in the following conƭgurations
● 32 GB (16 GB × 2)
● 16 GB (16 GB × 1 or 8 GB × 2)

So up to 2 x 16 gig DDR4-2666. This is going to be stock OEM memory. Don't waste money on performance low-latency type RAM.

These are the specified 8 and 16 gig modules:

Memory modules (DDR4-2666):
16 GB 937438-855
8 GB 937236-855

This is going to have standard latency CL = 19.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Thank you for your answer.

However, i wanted to know the maximum parameters that the motherboard supports.
I did not want ready serial numbers from HP - I knew these.
I wanted to look for the memory of different manufacturers myself.

Now I know that memory works with most DDR4 systems at the speed allowed by the system manufacturer's BIOS.

The PnP function does not allow higher system memory speeds than allowed by the manufacturer's BIOS.

Memory overclocking is locked at 2666 MHz (Coffee Lake) for all mobile processors, except for the Core i7 H series (i7-xxxxHQ or i7-xxxxHK).

So the maximum frequency is 2666 MHz.

However, when it comes to CAS latency, the difference between the memories from CL15 and CL 19
is about in poland 15 zł. =  $ 3:

As I change the memory and the difference will be 5 $ (at 2x8 GB) I prefer those with a lower CL.
Unless it turns out again that my motherboard can't handle it.

Dziękuję.
