Product: HP Laptop - 17-ca2096nr

I have a laptop which I want to add additional memory. Nowhere can I find model number as there is nothing on the case.

I can't see any way to open the case. Does this mean it is sealed? 

It's a laptop-17-ca2096nr or product 2Y550UA.

Hi:

 

HP only has the service manual for the older 17-ca1xxx model series on your notebook's support page.

 

HP 17-ca2000 Laptop PC series Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

Your notebook should have two memory slots and support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

Chapter 6 has the procedure to open up the notebook to upgrade the memory.

 

It is not an easy job to access the memory.
