I have a Hp laptop model 15-ef0888ca and am wondering what i can do to increase the ram ?Because i would like to run autocam on it and it suggests a minimum of 16Gb. When i put the serial number into this site it gave me a HP 15s-eq0000 but my device says 15-ef0888ca.

Your HP 15s-Eq0000 Laptop PC (22P23AV), as per: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=22P23AV, is indeed referenced as an HP LAPTOP 15-EF0888CA.
And when we look here: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/hp-15-ef0xxx-models, it shows that your laptop can be upgraded up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks. You could install 2666 or 3200 MHz RAM modules, but they will down throttle to 2400 MHz. Remember to install identical RAM: same brand, model and capacity for best RAM performance.
I would recommend 2 x 16GB dual-rank RAM, such as this Amazon-Canada purchase example: https://www.amazon.ca/Timetec-PC4-19200-Unbuffered-Notebook-Computer/dp/B079HJGQZ2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1....
Hope this was helpful.
