Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • What happens when you start the computer

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Firstly, run Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8 (if the computer doesn't start up/power on you can skip the next step)

Next step, BIOS default:

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

i didnt make any hardware changes, just opened up my laptop as on any regular day and it didnt start.

as for the software changes, i am not really sure as windows updates might have been possible as they are downloaded in the background.

. i already tried resetting the laptop, no luck there.

. also opened up the laptop, removed the battery and placed it in  again....still no luck...

. i notice the white led on the power button is blinking continuosly like i said before(not that on the charging point) and also orange led of the hard drive is also blinking simultaneously.

when i press the power button, there is no other response whatsoever, just these led's start to blink, no startup screen, no movement of the fan nothing.

what do you suggest i should do next as the blink codes also dont fit it any of the one's mentioned on hp's website?

This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer as it's not powering on.
